Become a member

To qualify for a membership, you need to have a proven scientific record. Please send an email with your name, affiliation and email address to any of the Trustees to become a member. In case of student members, please additionally ask your Ph.D. supervisor to send a short email to support your membership.

Members receive a newsletter by email several times each year.


Payment Options

  • Fee waiver (students, retired members, Hausdorff medalists): €0.00EUR – yearly

  • Reduced fee (members within 5 years of obtaining a Ph.D. degree): €20.00EUR – yearly

  • Full fee (all other members): €30.00EUR – yearly

December 15 is the due date for the payment of the fees for the next year. The payment is by transfer to the bank account of the ESTS. The payment information is in your email if you are a member.

Fees and donations are used to support conferences in set theory, the Hausdorff medals and the fee for the association of the ESTS with the European Mathematical Society.
